At Better Rehab, we have career development in spades. We give members of our team the opportunity to step up and design their own career pathways, all whilst being supported at each crucial step.

Choose your own (career) adventure!
If you’re an Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist or Positive Behaviour Support practitioner, you can join us and follow any of these pathways:
- Clinical Roles: If you have graduated from university in the last 12 months, you can join us as a Graduate Clinician and gain valuable experience to become an Early Practicing Clinician, Practicing Clinician and Senior Clinician.
- Operational Leadership: You can decide to throw your hat in the ring and move up the ranks to become Team Leader, Regional Manager and State Manager.
- Clinical Leadership: You can also choose to become a Clinical Supervisor, and move on to become a Principal Clinician and a National Clinical Lead.
You will be fully supported with monthly goal setting plans, competency reviews, and formal and informal feedback opportunities, ensuring that you are on the right track!
Leadership Programs & Training
We are always on the lookout for strong leaders. At Better Rehab, we create leadership opportunities through three different programs:
- Future Leaders Program: This is a 12-week course for those wanting to take on their first leadership role. This includes a curated suite of eLearning modules, virtual group training sessions and a personalised workbook designed to fit alongside your work schedule.
- Team Leader Training: This 12-month pathway is designed specifically for Team Leaders to get all the practical skills they need to excel in the role. This includes an all-expenses-paid 3-day conference!
- Clinical Supervision Course: This is an 8- to 12-week program for those aiming to become clinical supervisors, covering the practical components of the role as well as development of coaching and communication skills.
Upskilling and reskilling is the top priority for learning and development professionals globally, and Better Rehab’s dedicated L&D team is aligned with this global focus, providing current and future Better Rehabbers with multiple opportunities to grow and develop. We do this through:
- Our online university, The Learning Hub, which has more than 150 bespoke modules
- Regular in-services or internal training sessions
- 4 days of study leave each year
- Financial contribution that you can use to engage in external professional development opportunities
