Positive behaviour support services through the NDIS

Empowering lives with positive behaviour support

Whether it’s improving quality of life or reducing behaviours of concern, our support aligns with these goals. This personalised approach ensures that every participant receives the help they need.

Positive behaviour support is more than individual support; it’s a team effort. Our clinicians also work with participants’ families and support networks. By involving everyone, we create an environment where all aspects of support are aligned.

By working together, the support our PBS clinicians provide can have a lasting impact for everyone involved.

Person-centred behaviour support for adults and children

Our Positive Behaviour Support services provide personalised guidance that empowers both adults and children to develop skills, achieve personal goals, and experience meaningful growth. By fostering a compassionate and supportive environment, we create space for individuals to explore their potential.

Our child-led approach encourages young participants to learn and grow at their own pace, while adults benefit from strategies that promote independence and enhance their daily interactions. At every stage of life, we focus on building positive pathways for long-term success and well-being.

FAQs

What is Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)?

PBS is a person-centred approach that focuses on improving an person’s quality of life. While it may involve addressing challenging behaviours, the primary goal is to enhance overall well-being and happiness. Our clinicians use evidence-based strategies to achieve these outcomes.

Our services include functional behaviour assessments, reviewing restrictive practices, and creating person-centred behaviour support plans. We also provide support for implementing these plans through training stakeholders and coordinating with other clinicians for complete support.

You can receive our PBS services either in our clinics or in a location that suits you. This might be your home, at school, out in a public place, or even over telehealth. We aim to provide support in the most convenient setting for you.

Our services begin with a detailed, person-centred assessment to understand the person at the heart of it all. We provide a ‘Good Life’ booklet for participants to express their goals, dreams, and aspirations, ensuring active involvement in their PBS journey. We collaborate with the participant, their support network, and other professionals for a unified approach to improve quality of life and achieve both NDIS and personal objectives. Our aim is to provide participants with a voice and ensure they are heard.

Yes, as a multidisciplinary NDIS allied health provider, we can offer PBS services as part of an overall plan. Our clinicians work alongside other specialists to provide comprehensive care.
