Grant’s previous mobility scooter was privately purchased, and when it broke last year, his reduced mobility left him unable to get to work, the club or footy. He was also unable to travel independently to the church where he volunteers, or to visit his nieces and nephews.
Grant approached Better Rehab in order to find ways to re-engage in these meaningful activities. With our Occupational Therapist Ashmita’s help, he was able to have a new mobility scooter approved and delivered! This helped Grant gain back his independence.
“It’s the best,” Grant tells us. “I can see my mate again and go for a coffee, I can do it on my own.”
