Kelsie requires a new powered wheelchair to assist with her daily mobility. The search for appropriate equipment caused a bit of a challenge in the past as her previous wheelchairs were too low, making it difficult for her to participate in activities with her peers.
With the help of her Occupational Therapist Sarah, Kelsie is able to gain access to a new Permobil vertical wheelchair which has a standing feature! According to Sarah, “This angle will be adapted as she slowly gets used to standing up.”
Now Kelsie will be able to engage in activities with her friends with confidence!
