Just ask Craig, who is set to move to a fully accessible home!
Craig has been living with Motor Neurone Disease for 20 years, and wanted to improve his safety and quality of life. In his small home with limited space and poor accessibility, Craig would experience frequent falls and have difficulty completing daily tasks that require him to stand.
With assistance from his Occupational Therapist Isabella, Craig received approval for Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)! This means he’ll have space to use his powered wheelchair and additional equipment, like this mobile shower commode that Craig is testing out.
He and Isabella will continue to work together so he can fully engage in activities that matter the most to him.
