Ned gains independence with his modified bathroom

For Ned, his modified bathroom means independence and safety.

Ned has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, a condition which affects his balance and energy levels. He wanted to stay independent and remain living in his own home, but as he experiences chronic fatigue and recurring falls, major changes needed to be made in his home environment to keep him safe.

He requested for modifications to be made in his bathroom so he can maintain independence with his self-care tasks. With the help of his Occupational Therapist Emma, the modifications he requested were approved in less than two weeks!

Ned wanted to share with everyone how absolutely over the moon he is with his new bathroom! He plans to continue working closely with Better Rehab. The new bathroom was a great first step, and now he is keen to continue exploring further assistive devices to manage his symptoms and to live as independently and safely as possible in his own home.
