NDIS occupational therapy built around your everyday life

What would you like to do more independently?

Independence means something different to every participant. Your occupational therapist starts by listening to what is important to you. Together, you look at the activities you want or need to do, what is already working, and what may be making those activities harder.

Your support involve building skills, improving your environment, or exploring equipment that makes everyday life safer and more manageable.

The aim is to find practical approaches that support your choice, confidence, and participation, with recommendations grounded in your goals and daily life.

Support at every age and stage

Occupational therapy can support participation in play, learning, self-care, family routines and community life. Sessions may explore fine motor skills, dressing and toileting, mealtimes, sensory preferences, emotional regulation, classroom access or transitions between activities. We work with the child or young person and, where appropriate, the adults around them so strategies are realistic for the places where life happens.

Adult OT support may focus on living more independently, establishing routines, managing fatigue, accessing the community, using assistive technology, returning to driving or adapting after a change in function. Your goals may relate to home, work, study, parenting, relationships or recreation. The plan is shaped around what meaningful participation looks like for you.

Who we work with

Under the NDIS, we help participants build independence and work toward the goals in their plan, whether that means managing daily tasks more independently, accessing the right equipment, or building skills through Capacity Building supports.

We work with both plan-managed and self-managed participants, and can coordinate directly with Support Coordinators where needed. We also support private clients and aged care participants, including those receiving Support at Home. FAQs

What is NDIS occupational therapy?

NDIS occupational therapy supports participants to build independence in everyday tasks and improve their quality of life. Our OTs help you develop the skills needed for daily activities.

Our clinicians support a wide range of needs, including driving assessments, neurological conditions, spinal cord injuries and sensory processing difficulties. We also have allied health professionals available for paediatric OT support.

Sessions can take place in one of our clinics or wherever suits you best, whether that’s at home, at school, in the community or over telehealth. We work around the setting that’s most practical and comfortable for you.

An occupational therapist works with you to build independence and support your participation in the activities that matter most to you. That could mean recommending equipment that makes a task easier, or exploring a different way of approaching something you want to do more independently. Your OT takes the time to understand you and your goals, then helps turn those goals into practical, everyday outcomes.

Yes, we’re a multidisciplinary NDIS allied health provider, which means we can offer OT as part of an overall health plan. Our OTs work alongside other clinicians to provide comprehensive care.
