NDIS physiotherapy for movement that matters
Better Rehab NDIS physiotherapists help you move more easily through the parts of your day that matter, from getting out of bed to transferring into the car. Support is shaped around your body, your disability and your goals.

Which movement is getting in the way of your day?
You don’t need a clinical goal to start. Maybe the bathroom is harder to reach, a transfer takes more help than you want, or fatigue cuts your outings short. Your NDIS physiotherapist will watch the movement, ask what it feels like for you and work out what’s behind it, from strength and balance to pain, equipment or your environment.
Your plan follows from there: practice, equipment, a change in technique, advice for your support people, or a mix. The test is whether it helps in your actual day.
NDIS Physiotherapy built around real movement
Our physiotherapists work with adults and children on building strength, improving mobility and developing the physical skills needed for everyday independence. For children, this often means motor skill development delivered through movement-based play rather than repetitive drills.
For adults, it might mean recovering function after an injury, managing a chronic or progressive condition, or rebuilding confidence in balance and mobility. Every plan is evidence-based, but shaped around what you actually want to be able to do.

Our physiotherapists support participants to achieve their goals. Enquire today to learn how.

Different lives call for different ways to move
Better Rehab works with NDIS participants across childhood, adolescence and adulthood whose disability affects movement, positioning, balance, transfers, breathing, endurance or getting around. Some participants are developing physical skills for the first time. Some have moved in their own way for years and want the right support to keep doing what matters. Others are adjusting to a change in function or planning ahead as their needs evolve.
With clinics across Australia, support is always nearby
Better Rehab has clinics and offices spanning major cities and key urban centres. Our clinicians are also able to provide tailored therapy solutions by telehealth.
Across all our sites, our operating hours are 8:30am to 5pm.

Neuro capacity building
Neuro physio support for participants managing neurological or progressive neurological conditions, focused on building daily function, independence and confidence in movement

You choose who is part of the work
You may want to work directly with your physiotherapist, or you may want a family member, carer, support worker, advocate or support coordinator involved. With your consent, your physiotherapist can show the people who support you how to assist with an agreed exercise, transfer, positioning approach, mobility aid or respiratory strategy.
Better Rehab can also provide physiotherapy alongside occupational therapy, speech pathology and other allied health services. When more than one clinician is involved, they can coordinate with you so recommendations are practical together and everyone remains focused on your priorities.

FAQs
What is NDIS physiotherapy?
NDIS physiotherapy helps people who have mobility issues or chronic pain. Our physiotherapists work with participants to improve their movement and manage pain.
What physio NDIS services are available?
Our physiotherapists offer hydrotherapy, neuro physio, falls and balance support, mobility assessments, respiratory physiotherapy, and paediatric physio for children.
Where can I access physiotherapy services NDIS participants can use?
Sessions can happen in one of our clinics, at your home, or wherever’s most convenient, including via telehealth. We work around your routine so physio fits into daily life rather than disrupting it.
How does physiotherapy actually help day to day?
It can improve mobility, reduce discomfort, and support better management of respiratory conditions, alongside general strength and confidence in movement. For children, physio often builds these same skills through playful, engaging activities.
Can I receive physiotherapy as part of a broader NDIS plan?
Yes, as a multidisciplinary NDIS allied health provider, we can offer physiotherapy as part of an overall health plan. Our physiotherapists work alongside other specialists to provide comprehensive care.
How do I start receiving NDIS physiotherapy services?
You can begin by submitting our referral form. If you have any questions or need assistance, our team is ready to help. Just use our enquiry form to get in touch, and we’ll guide you through the process.
