NDIS exercise physiology that fits real life

Exercise has to earn its place in your week

A program can be clinically sound and still be unusable. Before adding exercise to your week, your NDIS Exercise Physiologist looks at what the week already asks of you: personal care, work or school, appointments, transport, fatigue, recovery time, changing symptoms and when support people are available.

NDIS Exercise physiology works best with support around you. We involve family and support workers where it helps, so the program your AEP builds keeps going between sessions, not just during the hour you’re with them. That’s often the difference between a program that gets followed and one that stalls.

There is no fitness test at the door

Better Rehab works with NDIS participants across childhood, adolescence and adulthood. Some participants have never felt welcome in a gym. Some need exercise adapted around mobility equipment, sensory preferences, communication needs, fatigue or assistance. Others already enjoy being active and want a program that is safer, more targeted or easier to progress.

Depending on your goals, clinical needs and local availability, sessions may take place in a Better Rehab clinic, at home, in a gym or community setting, or via telehealth.

With clinics across Australia, support is always nearby

Better Rehab has clinics and offices spanning major cities and key urban centres. Our clinicians are also able to provide tailored therapy solutions by telehealth.

Across all our sites, our operating hours are 8:30am to 5pm.
