This isn’t a sink-or-swim graduate role. At Better Rehab, our Graduate Program is built by clinicians, for clinicians! With structure, mentorship, flexibility and backing from a multidisciplinary team, we want to set you up for long-term success beyond your grad year.

The Role 

Based in Hobart, you’ll support NDIS participants aged 6–65 years across a varied community caseload, including: 

  • Language
  • Mealtimes & feeding
  • Dysphagia
  • Aphasia
  • AAC 

This is a community-based role, delivering functional, participant-led therapy across homes, day centres, parks and clinic spaces. 
You’ll: 

  • Complete meaningful assessments and design practical therapy plans
  • Build long-term relationships and see real progress
  • Work closely with a supportive multidisciplinary team

You’ll receive: 

  • A graduate-specific induction week (NDIS, community practice & life at Better Rehab)
  • 1:1 discipline-specific supervision
  • 6 months of structured induction, training and upskilling
  • 4 paid study leave days per year
  • Laptop, phone and fully resourced therapy kits

What You’ll Need 

  • Speech Pathology qualification (graduating in 2026 or January 2027)
  • Passion for supporting people with disability
  • Driver’s licence and own vehicle
  • NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
