Occupational Therapist – Aged Care

What You’ll Do  

Based at our Hobart office, you will provide OT services to Support at Home clients in the community. Support at Home enables in-home aged care clients to remain safe, independent and engaged within their own homes. 
  

Your responsibilities will include:
 

  • Conducting functional assessments and documenting client needs in detailed reports. 
  • Communicating identified needs with clients, families, and service providers, and coordinating appropriate referrals to relevant health professionals or specialists. 
  • Prescribing suitable equipment and recommending home modifications to support client independence and safety. 

Our Hobart office is a multidisciplinary team of OTs, Speechies, Physios, EPs and BSPs, supporting clients across the NDIS and Support at Home.

What You’ll Need 

  • AHPRA registration 
  • Driver’s licence and own vehicle 
  • NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain) 
  • A passion for supporting aged care clients to remain safe and independent in their own homes 
  • Onshore applicants seeking sponsorship considered
