Neuro Series: Memory & Encoding

Thank you to everyone who attended our event!

Karen Liu, PhD of Western Sydney University gave a fascinating talk on memory and encoding strategies for people with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Dr. Liu is a Professor in Occupational Therapy, the Associate Dean of Research and the Allied Health Discipline Leader at WSU, and has practised as an OT for more than 30 years. The wealth and depth of her knowledge is valuable to student, beginner and experienced clinicians.

Everyone in attendance received 1 hour of CPD, and gained some insights on how they can use these strategies in their own practice. The event also gave attendees an opportunity to mingle with other Occupational Therapists and members of the Better Rehab team whilst enjoying free nibbles and drinks!
